In many respects, the modern story of Istria and wine began precisely in the northwest of the Istrian peninsula. About 20 years ago, some of the ideas that helped Istrian winemaking in the era of great prosperity that started in the early 1990s, when new technologies were introduced into vintage production, were born here. One of the cities known for its wines and wineries is I Buje.

At the foot of Mount Buja, there is also this vineyard with 8,850 m2 of agricultural land. The planted vineyard is 6317 m2 (malvasia variety) and has a regular shape.
